An dieser Stelle nur ein kurzes "Yeah!": Ich habe ein eigenes Atelier gemietet! Genauer gesagt ist es kein ganzes Atelier, da ich es teile. Auch wird das Gebäude früher oder später abgerissen werden. Was nicht ganz unerwartet kommt, da es doch ein wenig baufällig ist. Aber ich finde es wunderschön! Da ich die "gute" Nähmaschine bei mir zuhause lassen möchte (denn nirgends lässt es sich so schön in alle Nacht hinein nähen...), werde ich im Atelier voraussichtlich eher kleinere Sachen machen, zeichnen oder Stoff bedrucken und färben. Sobald es erste Resultate gibt, werdet ihr es auf jeden Fall hier erfahren. Hier nur mal einige Fotos das Treppenhaus hinauf und ins Atelier hinein.

Hm... It's difficult to translate today's post title. It could be translated maybe as "studi-yo!" But that sounds more like Hip hop and less like the Beatles and less like me. But what I wanted to say is: I rent a studio! Or, more precisely, a working place in a studio, as I'm sharing it. Sadly, the building will be demolished sooner or later. I can somehow see why, as it is a trifle tumbledown. But I think it's so beautiful! As I'll leave the "good" sewing machine at home (for the cosiest night shifts...) I'll most probably use the space for smaller projects, drawing, dying or printing. Of course I will write as soon as there are any first results. But for now, I have just some pictures from up the staircase and into the room.
