Guten Abend!
Im Moment sitze ich mit einem ganzen Krug Kamille-Tee auf eben dem Sofa, das ihr auf dem Foto seht und mag gar nicht so viel schreiben. Trotzdem wollte ich euch mein neues Kissen zeigen.
Es besteht aus einem Aussenkissen mit Reissverschluss und einem ganz einfachen Innenkissen. Für die Verzierung habe ich die Stoffe für den Kopf, Kreis und Rahmen zuerst mit Vliesofix verstärkt. Das ist im Grunde Leim in Stoff-Form, man bügelt es auf den Stoff und dieser wird dann stabiler, leichter zu schneiden und vor allem kann man den Stoff selbst dann ebenfalls auf andere Stoffe draufbügeln. Könnt ihr mir folgen? Zuletzt nähte ich die Einzelteile dann mit einem sehr engen Zickzack-Stich definitiv fest. (Die Technik nennt man Applizieren, falls ihr der Sache genauer auf den Grund gehen wollt).

At the moment I'm sitting on the very sofa you see in the first picture, accompanied by a whole jar of camomile tea and honestly I can't think of any intelligent things to write. But I still want to show you my new pillow.
It is made of a pillow case with a zipper and a simple inner cushion. For the decoration I ironed some vliesofix on the fabrics for the head, circle and frame. Vliesofix is like fabric-shaped glue: It makes the fabric more solid, easier to cut and (most important) you can then iron it on other fabrics (like here the pillow case). Can you follow me? At last I sewed the pieces into place with a very short zigzag stitch. The technique is called "appliqué".
